"Cold Case", the long-running detective show from CBS, is now casting a new episode for production this fall.
From the producer of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "Pirates of the Carribean", this show is about a female detective in the Philadelphia homicide squad who focuses on "cold cases"----older crimes from years ago that have never been solved.
"Cold Case" stars Kathryn Morris and John Finn. It is being written by Meredith Stiehm and Liz Garcia.
The show is being produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Meredith Stiehm, Tyler Bensinger, and Jonathan Littman for Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Warner Brothers Television in association with CBS Television.
The episode now being cast is called "Wings".
ROLES AVAILABLE:
Ally Thurston, female, Caucasian, 20s. She is a wholesome, enthusiastic young airline stewardess from Millville, New Jersey. She has an innocent and loyal demeanor. Her scenes take place in 1960. She is excited to get a chance to travel the world, but she is suddenly tragically killed.
Bert Walters (2008), male, Caucasian, 60s - 70s. A burned out, frazzled older man.
Bert Walters (1960), male, Caucasian, 20s. The younger version of Bert, appearing in a flashback sequence. A reckless, drunken young man who drives a 1957 Chevy.
Chess Opponent, male, any ethnicity, 30s - 50s. A guy playing chess in the park in Haddonfield, New Jersey.
Dean London (2008), Caucasian, 70s. An older, retired airline pilot who is questioned about the death of a stewardess named Ally Thurston back in the 1960s. Dean now flies small propeller planes.
Dean London (1960), Caucasian, 20s. A hot-shot young airline pilot in 1960 who aspires to become a captain. He has a romantic relationship with a young stewardess named Ally.
Gloria Stone (2008), female, Caucasian, 70s. A cynical, bitter woman who now works at the ticket counter of a bargain airline. She used to be a stewardess on an airline when she was younger.
Gloria Stone (1960), female, Caucasian, Mid 20s - 30s. A well-groomed, poised airline stewardess in 1960. She trains the other, younger stewardesses and sets down the standards for them.
Helen Underwood (2008), female, Caucasian, Late 60s. She is a gynecologist doctor who was once an airline stewardess. She is questioned about what she knew of Ally Thurston years ago.
Helen Underwood (1960), female, Caucasian, 20s. Helen is a young, wide-eyed stewardess who is friends with her fellow stewardess Ally. Helen is slightly heavier than Ally.
Harvey Dewitt (2008), male, any ethnicity, Mid 70s. A convicted former diamond smuggler. He is questioned in the death of Ally Thurston.
Harvey Dewitt (1960), male, any ethnicity, Mid 20s. A suave, James Bond-style man in 1960 who tries to pick up a stewardess on his flight to Europe. He claims to own a company called "Brilliant Imports and Exports".
Lew Thurston, male, Caucasian, 80s. He is the father of Ally Thurston, a stewardess who was killed back in 1960. Lew is a World War II veteran who helped liberate France. He recalls how he used to fight with his daughter when she was in high school. But he still misses his daughter after all these years.
Rowland Hughes (2008), male, Caucasian, 70s. He is a disgruntled but clearly macho former airline captain. He is questioned in the mysterious death of Ally Thurston, and changes his story as the questioning goes on.
Rowland Hughes (1960), male, Caucasian, Mid-30s. Captain Hughes is an obnoxious, slimy guy who is constantly patting the stewardesses on the butt and harassing them. He gets into a conflict with Ally in the middle of a flight, where she gets upset at how he is treating her.
