VerleeRose is looking for an experienced drummer (18-25) to complete their 5 piece band.
About VerleeRose:
At only 15 years old, this duo (Keira Verlee & Ellie Rose) creates infectious hooks, thoughtful lyrics and tight vocal harmonies. Forming just 17 months ago, they wrote & released a 9 song CD at 14 yrs old and have played 36 shows in the Seattle area including The Showbox SODO & Northwest Folklife Festival.
We are currently taking a break from playing live and focusing on new material to record a strong demo with a full band. Besides the two of us on guitar & vocals we have a bass player and a pianist. We are also considering adding a lead guitarist once we get a few of the new songs arranged.
We are looking for a drummer who can play different music styles and understands how to compliment a song rather than over run it. Sometimes less is more. Also a drummer who can totally bring it on the more upbeat songs. New material is more upbeat in general and far more advanced than what is on the CD.
