Director: Walter Alza. The classes at the studio are divided in different levels: Beginner to Advance, they all incorporate craft, scene study, audition technique. The classes are ideal for actors that have just started, or working in the medium of Film and TV, and or that need to cross from Theatre or have not worked with Mr.Alza or at our studio before. Actors will use scenes from theatre, film and television to learn: the relationship between actor and camera, hitting your mark, working within your frame and being present in front of the camera. The ‘business’ side of acting as well as preparing yourself for auditions will be discussed. Character development. Actors will work on material using elements from the techniques of Meisner, Chekhov, Stanislavsky and Alza’s own techniques to learn how to connect with their scene partner and make better choices when it comes to preparing their scene. Audition technique as well as cold reads will also be explored. You will benefit from all our Professional instructors, including The studio founder and director Mr. Alza and the best casting Directors and guests in the business.
