The Young Persons’ Theatre Company is auditioning now for Junior YPTC and the YPTC Performance Course.
YPTC is a training film and theatre company for young people aged 16-19 in our Junior Section and 19-27 on the Performance Course. We provide professional level tuition in all aspects of the performing arts as well as developing and producing new stage and film works through which students can gain experience and showcase their skills to casting directors and agents. Courses run on Saturdays only to give you tine to work or study during the week.
To date we have produced four off West End stage productions, three short films, as well as several showcases and schools tours and through our links with casting directors, students have been seen for amongst others, ‘Sweeney Todd’, ‘Notes on a Scandal’, Eastenders and the West End production of ‘The Lion King’.
We are now holding auditions for both YPTC and Junior YPTC for the 2009-10 companies.
AT YPTC we are interested in talented, committed individuals who are serious about developing their skills and becoming professional performers - if that sounds like you then we want to hear from you!
