Director: Hugh Allison. York Shakespeare Project is to putting on a modern day adaptation of Richard II. It is to be performed at 41 Monkgate (see www.41monkgate.co.uk) and will be directed by Hugh Allison of The Yellowchair Performance Experience (see www.t-y-p-e.co.uk)
I am looking for a cast of 20 people but as the breakdown is so wide, covering people of all ages, genders, ethnicities etc, I would ask that any interested actors get in touch, and I will then give with more details.
I am also looking for a crew, specifically a lighting designer, stage manager, assistant director or costume designer.
Ideally, the cast and crew will be in place by July 12th, although rehearsals are not due to start until September, and will be during evenings and weekends.
