NY-based production company is conducting a search for the HOST of a
new science-based TV series to air on a major US cable network.

We're looking for a rare combination: someone telegenic, curious,
natural and passionate. Ideally we'll cast that special grad-student /
TA / instructor whom every student wishes they'd had or wants the
world to meet: brilliant, inspiring, funny, personable and able to
communicate both the wonders and the complexity of the natural world.

Academic experience in Earth Science and/or related fields is
preferred, as the host must be credible when discussing complex
theories. Our man or woman should be intellectually nimble enough to
play with intriguing ‘what if?’ questions, curious about themselves
and nature, and yet possessed of enough warmth and authority to lead
the search for scientific clues in the everyday world.
