Local executive producer is looking for teen hosts, editors, and board operators for an internet radio program, which focuses on intrinsic values, such as family issues, social issues, relationships, cultural arts, sports and trends.
Interns are very involved with the planning and production of the broadcasts, which feature an eclectic mix of soft news, hot topics, news, music, sports and arts programming. Format features a guest interview by hosts, which addresses the sociological perspective of teens, followed by a call in forum. The teen host welcomes callers on the air and shares viewpoints and experiences with regard to the callers’ concern. The editors work directly with the executive producer, writing or supervising the host and ensure continuity of copy. Each editor will be working with two hosts. The hosts will rotate conduction interviews and screening calls. All hosts will have air time, weekly.
Program hosts and editors should be able to express ideas clearly and freely. Other important qualities include: leadership skills, excellence in internal and external communications, demonstrable goal setting and achievement, diversity, poise, self-assurance, cooperation, responsibility, interest in interpersonal relationships and current issues that relate to today’s teens.

•Runs board
•Ensures all tape/Pro Tools elements are ready to play
•Double checks play list against rundown
•Responsible for taping broadcast
•Set-up studio, chairs and mikes.
