[COREY THOMAS] African American, 16 (looking for 18+ to play 16) Corey is a foster kid that has been in and out of foster homes since he was two years old. He has a major chip on his shoulder and a nonchalant attitude about his life. As far as he’s concerned, his life is hopeless and nobody gives two sh%ts about him. His most recent brush with the law occurred when he was caught stealing sneakers from Footlocker. As a result, he’s been selected to participate in a test program that pairs up jail bound kids with terminally ill felons, in an effort to help change their perception on their lives or lackthereof. LEAD (NEED A STRONG DRAMATIC ACTOR HERE)

[FLOYD BROOKS] African American, Late 60’s-70 Floyd has been incarcerated for the past 45 years of his life for a crime of passion. He walked in on his lady in bed with another man and snapped and killed them both. He comes from a violent past that includes drug abuse. He’s dying from lung cancer and doesn’t have a long time to live. Floyd is very meticulous and doesn’t bite his tongue for anyone. He’s had a long time to come to peace for what he’s done and this program is going to be somewhat of his redemption. He volunteered to the programs so that he could help keep a kid from following in his footsteps and spending a lifetime in a cage. LEAD (NEED A STRONG DRAMATIC ACTOR HERE)
