SEEKING DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY AND CREW FOR WEB SERIES ENTITLED "THE POET"
The Poet is a comedy-drama about an independent filmmaker trying to achieve his goal of making a feature film. He’s a hopeless romantic at heart and finds that making movies can sometimes interfere with his love life because of his unrealistic goals with love and how he’s subconsciously relating his situations to the screenplays and scripts that he's writing.
CURRENTLY SEEKING:
-DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY WITH HD KNOWLEDGE (AND OWN EQUIPMENT PREFERABLY)
-SOUND MIXER W/BOOM
-PRODUCTION ASSISTANTS THAT CAN HELP OUT WITH VARIOUS THINGS SUCH AS LIGHTING
This web series is intended to run concurrently with the promotion of my website (FundMyMovieOnline.com) and will try to pitch to several studios upon completion of the first season, which will be approximately 13 5-10 minute episodes. The locations for the shoots will be switching mainly between the main characters' apartments and a few eateries and such, basic locales for a show. Shooting could begin as early as late June and should take no longer than 5 days total to shoot.
All gigs are non-pay with potential for pay and contracts will be drawn up during negotiations. My website is a site in which I'm trying to raise money to shoot a feature film, so if everything goes well, I can use some of the funds to pay the crew, but PLEASE accept job only if your heart is in it and this will definitely be some good stuff for a reel of some sort.
When applying, please submit demos of your work, especially the Director of Photography. And please include what type of equipment you have access to or plan on using.
