Tommy Whitacker – A young man in his late teens. He loves his guitar more than life & has big dreams of stardom. Bursting with talent, Tommy often feels trapped in his life as the son of a dockworker in New Jersey. He feels that he has more to offer the world than manual labor, but is stubborn & not sure how to go about chasing his dreams. When the show starts he is a Sr. in High School with no aspirations for college. Independent and honest, he is a good guy who is trying to find his way. He is good looking and dresses like every other 80’s rocker kid with a mullet haircut and lots of loud clothes

Gina Harris – A young woman in her late teens. Gina has spent her life being home-schooled & is very naïve. Her parents have recently moved back to New Jersey after living in California for the past 25 years, so she is the new girl in town. She is incredibly smart & prides herself in her studies & has aspirations of a medical degree. She has only recently discovered Heavy Metal/Rock music, much to the dismay of her parents. She has talked them into allowing her to spend her Senior year of High School in the public school system. She works part-time at her parents Vegetarian Diner. She is a pretty girl who is starting to find her own style as she branches away from her parents.
